I've done my best to remember the larger sets that I have in my collection in my mom's basement. I just spoke to her and she still has everything. Now everything I have is in a giant tub and is a mess likely with a few missing pieces. But I have all these sets and dozens of other small sets I can't remember in these genres. I had tons of pirate stuff. I know with the western genre I would buy tons of the same small minifig sets because my friend and I would create civil war scenes. I had TONS of the smaller castle sets and built enormous castles and armies as well.
Here are the larger noteworthy sets I remember:
Castle
[Set 6075-1] Wolfpack Tower (1992)
[Set 6081-1] King's Mountain Fortress (1990)
Star Wars
[Set 7140-1] X-wing Fighter (1999)
Western
[Set 6769-1] Fort Legoredo (1996)
[Set 6766-1] Rapid River Village (1997)
Aquazone
[Set 6155-1] Deep Sea Predator (1995)
[Set 6175-1] Crystal Explorer Sub (1995)
Adventurers
[Set 5956-1] Expedition Balloon (1999)
Time Cruisers
[Set 6493-1] Flying Time Vessel (1996)
Pirates
[Set 6289-1] Red Beard Runner (1996)
[Set 6280-1] Armada Flagship (1996)
[Set 6278-1] Enchanted Island (1994)
Thinking of getting my old tub back from her and see if I can't put some of these sets back together. Definitely going to pass them on to kids if I have any.
