>>10976180>They will probably do anyone they can now that they know what they can charge.The price is high for what you get, but I've always felt that way about the MP line which is why I've hardly ever bothered. $70 for just the figure and $120 for the full package is steep, but when put up against other high-end Transformers it doesn't seem that unusual to me, for better or worse. Missing Link Optimus is technically the first Masterpiece figure (if you want to count it) I've bought since MP-28 Hot Rod, a figure I fiddled with a few times and then never touched again. I'd be all over a ML Hot Rod, though.

Some popular characters also don't have the strongest source toys, like the G1 Seekers, so I'm not sure how exhaustive they'll be. For every toy with obvious upgrade potential like most of the early carbots or Soundwave there's a Starscream or Kup.
