The more succinct argument would've been

Michael's argument went down like a lead balloon when he mentioned they missed out on doing Melaktha( a filmation original character and accused Spector of taking up the slot, when even putting aside the commemorative series being a separate set of releases not taking up the "main" slots), MOTUC was a TOY based line and Filmation likenesses didn't happen until much later.
