>>10033901>How was the combined mode?I really have to dig out the others and try to fix Heavy Load. The head bit broke off from the screw (ffs how can I fix it and still have it rotate, just had him as a dumpless car for solely comboning, and his head as Classics Bee's headmaster, poor guy)..
Uh right.
From memory I only had him in the formation with Grimlock as the arms. Either kid me couldn't figure it out, or it wouldn't fit properly for the other ones? Wedge's peg was in such a way that even in Grim-arm formation he was a bit loose. I had him as my Devastator because "grr G1 is good even though I didn't grow up with it, was merely told this", but also sometimes a stand-in for BW Megs, since chomp and long weapons. He's quite menacing if you have smaller figures. Revewfren gave a more detailed review of him and his components. I'd say definitely go for it if each component is like $5-10 and you like construction vehicles, because worst case scenario you've given Wedge three buddies to repair things with after your main bots fought in a big city.
>>10033903>vehicles to robo animalsDid we get this with anyone other than cassettes and the objectively greatest and humblest Sky Lynx? It's strange but like, also refreshing.
>whose combiner form is a fuckin dinosaurDynazenon...
>what would be the best way to introduce and brand this kind of thing?I think it'd be risky for both the pov of execs and us to do this new thing, but I think starting off strong and confident would work. Like, pick one or two of the most popular animals and vehicles. Something that screams "even if you hate this gimmick, you know you'll LOVE this figure". Lions and T-Rexes and uhhh.. police cars, cranes, dump trucks, and fire engines were cool.. think there's some kid series with a dump truck dino? Maybe that'll be lawsuit-worthy. I'd buy a lion cop though.
Yeah this thing.
