Beastbox engineering can't be an easy job. Sometimes it's probably gonna fall short, but hey, that's kind of the game here. They're effectively giving themselves a problem (the box shape) and seeing how many different ways they can solve the equation. That's very unlike a standard action figure line where you can add any articulation you want, or even something like Transformers, where the altmode is different per figure and designers often take real liberties on accuracy to make the bot mode work. This ain't that. It's just a box, every time, of a set size and proportion. Shit's a different kind of challenge.
