I'll say my thoughts, big difference between the 2, if you love prime and want prime "as he was in the show" its mp10, if you want gimmicks you get mp01, if you want "good enough to play with and not worry about damaging him without significant loss" you wait for the takara redeco of the POTP optimus, that orion pax gimmick is pretty sweet but it made sacrifices to do so (incomplete truck cab and trailer looks etc).
And no, don't get the hasbro version, only poor fags do that.

He may not be quite prime but he's the same rock solid figure, he may be lacking in articulation and expressiveness like mp36 but he would blend in with top of the end chogokins.
I hope we don't see a new mp prime any time soon, the mold has aged well and seems like a waste to not just go anime+ redeco at this point
