It was the first time Transformers lore really opened up for me since I only watched Beast Wars at that point and it helped introduce me to g1 stuff season 3 was about. I remember reading some of the comics online too.
I actually never bought a really expensive TransArt or 3rd party toy until I saw news about Arcee and knew I had to have one because I always wanted one as a kid. I never had a chance to get any of those characters. Like I am a huge Beast Wars and Transmetal 1 fans but the MP and 3rd Party Beast Wars didnt bring me in until Arcee happened. I get so happy whenever Botcon exclusives get mainline toys too, but I didnt keep up with collecting Shattered Glass very much. Also I love Universe which tied into the Wreckers or Botcon or something too. Cant wait to see if we get Razorclaw out of Tigerhawk and holy shit mainline Toxitron and Nightprowler.
For some fucking reason I had a g1 Blitzwing as a kid somehow.
