Aside from Roddy and Scourge, I weirdly feel like SS86 is a step backwards. The others kind of look...off to me, and feel a little crappy and unsatisfying. It doesn't tick that immediate "HOLY SHIT" box in my brain that Earthrise did as a whole.
Also, why does Hasbro keep basically remaking MP Grimlock, but worse? I'll grant some similarities are inevitable because they're all drawing from the same design, but the interpretation of some of these parts are clearly cribbed from the original MP design. I guess I just feel like...fuck, either reissue MP Grimlock without his diecast as part of the new line, or do something entirely original. These pale imitations just make me remember how much better MP Grimlock is and sour my opinion on the current toy.
