>>10912045Honestly, no idea - I wasn't back into collecting at the time her T30 was released (I got it years later, though, and it's definitely the best incarnation of her to date), so I wasn't paying attention to the hype. I will say that Nightbird most definitely has the coomer vote over Filch - Nightbird was notable for not possessing an alt mode at all in the G1 cartoon, so she was always in sexy ninja mode, while Filch has a robot mode she never uses and is always in bird mode, which I don't see a whole lot of horny dudes getting excited over; the current interest in Filch would be coming from people who liked her as a character, while Nightbird only really had the fembot appeal on her side (while later versions of her fleshed her out a bit and gave her more of a backstory, her G1 incarnation didn't have much of a personality at all, given she was just an artificial robot that was mind-controlled onto the Decepticon side). So it seems to be a different kind of love from a different kind of audience going on here.
