Noticed some weird discoloration in some older blue minifigures. It's hard to tell from this photo but the arms on the torso are a darker shade of blue that is not dark blue, they were originally the same color as the torso. Not sure how this happened, none of these figures were ever exposed to direct sunlight and most have been stored in my drawers in a windowless closet for decades now.
You can see one of the legs is discolored too, how did this happen? Anyone else experience it with older blue pieces?
The pieces are from a figure from 2007 by the way. It's not that old, but it's just very strange to see this kind of discoloration affect one leg and just the arms of this figure. I assume it's a plastic quality issue from back when this was manufactured.
