The first wave of WW2 stuff came at a cash crunch time for me, so I didn't get the Sherman, Half-Track or fighter planes (regrets, yeah). I did get the original landing craft (great set) and I recently bought the remake cuz it was slightly marked down and I wanted to see how much it improved on the original (haven't built yet). I bought two of the Anti-tank gun cuz I like how it looks (and the second one was on clearance). Did get the troops and doggos pack along with the landing craft cuz why not, haven't opened it either but I knew in advance it was somewhat lame in terms of the weapons provided (who needs five-six of the same sniper rifle?; no German weapons).
Probably my favorite of the current sets out is the British guys, but I'm Canadian so there's a bit of a bias heh (our guys wore mostly the the same kit). I really like the Vickers machine gun they have, just wish they'd included bipods for the Brens. I have a couple of the German troop packs, they're alright and the Luger is nice, could've been better with another German weapon.
