I agree about the color schemes, shoulder articulation and tacked-on secondary weapon modes for some of the Metru. However, I disagree on some points. For example, I think the Metru heads are great because they have backwards compatibility with the previous masks without axels and because they end in a balljoint for default neck articulation. It's a graceful solution to the "we don't want our new masks to fall off anymore" problem.
And the fact still remains that the Metru were the first canister sets to have elbow articulation and the ones to have the most points of articulation while still having a gear function. Both pretty huge upsides. I think the idea that the designers shouldn't add knee or elbow articulation because it's not compatible with some parts from the previous three years is odd.
