I admit it's completely irrational and immature, but I just felt weird about seeing these characters I've known most of my life being like...sexual and uwu towards each other (pic related is official and not fanart, and perfectly exemplifies what I'm talking about)
IDW early on though? I'll say it: based as fuck. All kinds of cool and interesting designs and character reinventions.
I can't speak to how they're doing now, I imagine it's much the same.
