What's the longest it's ever taken you to build a set?
I got the UCS Tantive IV soon after it came out. Was my first and only UCS set. Must have been about 11 at the time.
The build had 3 sections: head, mid, tail (with all the engines)
I built the head relatively quickly but the whole thing was taking such a long bloody time that I took a break... for 2 years. So there she sat, under my bed, half completed until our internet went down one day so I decided to finish it.
2 years, lads.
The longest continuous building session I've done was probably about 6-7 hours. I bought a bunch of Star Wars sets at once (Tie Bomber, Jabba's Palace, Geonosian Fighter, T16 Skyhopper, AT TE) which I basically built in one sitting.
