the line between "historical representation" and "racist depiction" is so fucking nebulous and open ended no one can draw a definitive line which makes arguing about it pointless.
Furthermore everyone gets to be the subject of stereotypes, no one is immune. Someone pointing their finger and screaming "racist, racist!!" over a something small and stupid like this is far from actually helpful.
