No doubt, they probably stopped doing the reflective gold because it cost too much. Pretty sad that Star Wars fans who collect $13 children toys have higher standards than the fanboys in this thread who are paying upwards of $150 for brown mustard. Despite waaay higher profit margins, Joytoy follows Hasbro's children budget line of cutting cost, yet Joytoy does it purely out of greed, whereas Hasbro does it cause shareholder pressure of always increasing profits.
Still, Hasbro has much better gold paint/plastic than Joytoy.
