Just so you know, the birds are part of another series: Gothitropolis. The birds also got more backers than Mythic Legion, but Mythic Legion sold more because it's for army building. Go see how much money Boss Fight's kickstarter made, despite the toys costing almost half as much, by being full of army builders.

All these lines are just an outlet for their creativity and wanting to share their creations with others. They're not going to focus on one thing, especially when other series have a larger base of fans. The fact that they're making money off of Mythic Legions is just them trying to milk it for all its worth to build up a cash reserve to continue making whatever they want.
For them, nothing is taken out of their to do list.
