I love 8-wide speed champions and I think people who dislike Lego City vehicles becoming larger are fucking stupid and tasteless. The amount of detail you can pack in expands with each stud. 6-wide is superior to 4 for generic city vehicles and 8-wide is better than 6 for show cars. I'm glad their vehicle design ascended beyond the early 2000's trash. I just got Dom's Charger and it looks so fucking good compared to the previous charger, it inspired me to disassemble my 6-wide speed champions and mod them wider. I've built my streets to accommodate these behemoths because they deserve it.
