Electric crossing gates as well as lights that could be hooked up to transformer. (For buildings and such) I don't know why Lego never bothered to bring this functionality to 9volt. I assume that Lego trains simply do not sell good enough to justify any form of major investment into them. It a shame the 9volt system could of benefited form shit like DCC had Lego stuck to it.
