I felt with the Autobot clones that, while it was 1,000% G1 accurate, it resulted in the vehicle modes being accurate but uninspired. Whereas in Classics you'd sometimes have creative ventures like a fuck-huge Powerglide or a standalone comboner member, and sometimes as you say, very lovingly-created vehicle modes. Whereas it's mostly about trying to look like the robot of the source material. There's a healthy balance I think. Both modes, posability, and proportion/aesthetic. We're at a point where you can sometimes get decent home runs like with Spinister, lambos, and datsuns, but alas, bots like poor Huffer aren't quite there yet. He's still a fun fellow, I hope you're able to warm up to him soon.
