Found out the other day there is a very well hidden hobby shop about 20 minutes from me, went to check it out and it was the most fantastic stock of all the items you'd need to scratchbuild anything, decent selection of plastic kits but heavy focus on ships and tanks. Also had balsa models in stock, I haven't seen that in ages.
However it's really weird to me that you have a decent size hobby shop but you don't even have a sign on the building about it, you would walk right past it thinking it's the back room of the mechanic workshop next door or something, and opening hours a grand total of 5 hours a week mostly during normal office hours??? I mean sure online is great and all but especially for buying construction materials for dioramas actually seeing and touching would be much better. Pic related, the haul of the day. Will be back when I've planned something out I need a ton of specific building material for.
