>>8938315Egyptfag here, I tried to decode these maps posted in last thread. Actually text on these panels is English writing of Egyptian god's names. This isn't correct Egyptian spelling, just English alphabet translated directly into symbols. It goes like this.

>CHNUM (or KHNUM - same symbol means C and K) god of the source of the Nile and annual flooding. That's why it is marked at the very bottom of the map where the river comes from. Portrayed with head of a ram.40
>-NUBIS (this arm symbol doesn't mean A) the rest suggest Anubis god of mummification, embalming - map marks areas near the Valley of the Kings. Jackal head. 60
>TH-HT (incorrect spelling of Toth) god of windsom, writing, knowledge. Map marks something near Fayum Oasis. Head of a bird, ibis.80
>H-RUS (god of sky and pharaohs) Every pharaoh was incarnation of Horus. Portrayed with head of a bird, falcon, often with solar disc above head. Map probably shows possible location of lost city of Pi-Ramesses.
