>>8321046If you're not too picky, maybe. I think Testors is a pretty mediocre topcoat, and I would never use it on any expensive doll or one I really cared about. Matte topcoats are judged in terms of how much reflectivity they can kill--bad ones will retain a lot of shine/reflect a lot of light, a good one should give you a very smooth, velvety surface that reflects little to no light.
Mr. Super Clear is excellent, so is Tamiya TS-80. Slightly lower than that is Mr. Hobby Topcoat Matte. Below that is basic bitch hobby shop-tier stuff like Testors. And at the very bottom you have hardware store-tier stuff like Krylon and Rusto, which you should ignore entirely.
