>>10171467You know, they're valid criticisms but they're also subjective. There are people who like the colored canopies, there are people who like more grey battlements. Neither is "right" or "wrong" objectively. It's a matter of taste. Arguing back and forth in every thread isn't productive.
As for the interior, I quite like it. If you don't, rip out a room and put in your own. This isn't the only lego you own is it? I dont think its possible to make everyone happy with a set. But I do believe everyone can make this set what they want it to be using their existing parts.
>Slap a roof on the gatehouse and turn it into a throne and dining room>Put your own king in to slap the queen back into her place as royal cocksucker>Put canopies on the towers instead or on top of the battlements>Hang banners from the gate tower>Replace the thatching with colored roof tiles and put the thatching on a brothel moc>Rip the female heads off the soldiers and replace with males. Put female heads on peasant bodies and stock the town brothel>Turn the single bed into a double.>Harpsicord out, pissbottle potions stand in. Dining table moved to new throne room. Put in magic scrolls, a single bed for virgin Majisto and a bookcase for his manga collection.I mean... It's literally fine. I can't remember owning any big lego set where I did not upgrade and adjust to suit my needs. If you're still salty about it just buy 2x 31120 castles and a blacksmith and 50 dollars or euros worth of bricklink and you'll have everything you need to moc your own castle just the way you like it for the same price and well over 5k pieces even before the bricklinking.
Hell, you could just buy the moonbase, or some city sets, or the eiffel tower... Or playmobil for all I care.
Yes, your criticisms are valid reasons why YOU dont like it. But you can also like, let other people enjoy stuff while you take charge of your own life.
