It might be just nostalgia, but these set photos radiate energy of the 2008 line for me, in a good, soulful way. I genuinely feel like i'm looking at pre-2010's lego again and that those sets would fit perfectly on the same shelves with the old ones. Even the box design being colorful, attractive and detailed feels so warm.
It's sad that it's wasted on an expensive as shit license instead of an original IP. I'd buy those without even thinking once if not for that.
