>>7364186>>7364539My most recent bonkle dream was about watching some supposedly unrelated cheap adventure movie. At some point I was hit by the realization that this is literally the Voya Nui storyline with the setting ported to real life, the characters replaced with humans, and the Ignika replaced with some random historical MacGuffin. As soon as I had figured that out, the actors (one of which I distinctly remember being Brendan Fraser) ripped off their face-masks to reveal their biomechanical nature, the setting morphed from an island vaguely reminiscent of Voya Nui into exactly Voya Nui, and the movie proceeded as a straight forward Bionicle adaptation. Then the dream kind of skipped to the outside of the cinema where everything was covered in posters announcing a new reboot and smugly asserting how they tricked people into paying attention with that bait-and-switch. Felt like hypest shit ever to my dream self.
