>>9705371Every artist want to put something of their own, it's a mix of vanity, self promotion and also to create a different look so the brand can be split apart. It's not just the concept artist but everyone involved wanting to make their own version of the character which I understand, comic book artists do the same, every run has it's own new writer that ignores the preview stories and the new artist that creates a new costume in hopes it will catch. Sometimes works, sometimes not. I am happy this is very faithful to the original comics, they could have been so much worse. Also they look great in live action.
