I legitimately miss when our biggest troll threads were dildos or jin threads or andrew in the BST
I miss when HLJ had REAL sales, and put good import figures on sale for like 999jpy, not the dumb '30% off even though it was already 20% off to begin with' sales they have now
I miss DDoSing Ami and HLJ with 20 other anons posting in the thread as the newest Rider SHF was going up. Now barely anyone posts that they're watching the site
I miss general noodles when he would make new threads about figures that were coming out (no matter the line)
I miss people posting mandarake links whenever an import toy would show up there for cheap
I've done multiple giveaways but the spirit of toy just isn't here any more. With more IPs getting figures, we've started to get the riff raff from otherwise more 'cynical' boards like /b/, /a/, /v/, etc. People used to praise us for being the "nicest board on 4chan", but oh how distant that feels today
I mean i get it. wheredoyouthinkweare.png, but MY /toy/ was a nice community where people actually went out of their way to help each other out and didn't get trolled so easily. This is just a shallow husk of its former glorious self
