>>6018432The issues with the coneheads aren't mold degradation, but rather QC issues, they fucked up the assembly on most if not all ramjets, at best the wings "snap" every time they're folded, at worst the wings can't tab in as the tabs are installed incorrectly, mine was also missing a shoulder cover meant for the mp11 cape so he has a big gap in there and he has a chip on his nose, other than that mine works.
Compared the thrust though he ain't mega tight like my hasbro sunstorm he does the job splendidly without untabbing due to a shake test (and I mean gently not toy test levels) and can hold a pose provided his heel spurs are catching, his wings are fucking heavy.
I honestly think you're in for a hit or miss, can't be as bad as the hasbro starscream, the chest on mine requires extreme force to be pulled apart to let the canopy slide down, I suspect the hasbro molds may be suffering from mold degredation since my acidstorm, thundercracker and sunstorm do better than my starscream, but takara seems to be doing something different
