But patience can reward you. I just won an auction for this Teen Titan's Black Tee Conner Kent/Superboy MoC (with damaged card but since I recycle that crap and display loose figures, I could care less), for $10.50 plus postage, and also ended up with the Retro Darkseid (MoC) for $5 and another old (MoC) Kenner toy for $4 with essentially free shipping, both of which I intend to eventually sell AS IS (mint card condition) and expect to net, after fees, at least half of what I paid for the Superboy, so my out of pocket will eventually be closer to $5-8 for the figure.
I saw a seller post a lot that included the Darwyn Cooke Superman with the head off the figure (but otherwise intact), as part of a fodder lot that ended up selling for the $10 starting auction price, plus $17.50 in postage. There were two other decent complete figures (including that glow in the dark DCD Spectre) and some other decent fodder stuff like stands, and Aquaman tridents, etc., that probably would have made the entire thing a '$0.00' purchase to end up with the Darwyn Cooke figure. I know the Hal Jordan GL and Wonder Woman with swappable heads are easy to switch, so assume a detached Supes head would be an easy fix?
