My experience with AliExpress has been overall pretty good, never had an issue come up that wasn't resolved to my satisfaction and those have been rare enough. The escrow system AE uses to hold your payment until you get your order seems to be strong incentive for sellers to offer the best service possible. One downside is while many offer free shipping options, you'll most likely be waiting a month or so for those to arrive. I go with AliExpress Standard Shipping or ePacket where available, it usually isn't a lot and includes some tracking so you have a trail to point to if you need to dispute a non-arrival.
There's plenty of GoT, LotR, Chinese epics and other fantasy stuff to source interesting armor pieces and weapons, not to mention straight copies of a lot of TLG Castle. I'd suggest you test the waters with a modest order, things are cheap and if you end up having a problem you won't be out much.
