Your war will start out with everyone nicely organized, but a few battles in you'll be scratching off a lot of units while cobbling new ones together with what's left.
Have what I've termed a Veterans' Brigade that's essentially the above, a unit of disparate troops from all walks of plastic life brought together into one entity out of necessity. The real-world reason for the brigade is a considerable amount of orphan soldiers picked up over the years from second-hand finds, pic is one segment of that force. Despite having about a hundred different units I'm always finding the odd soldier that doesn't belong to any of them, so he'll get folded into the brigade.
