>>10908309>Animated Prime is still out there.A complete listing of the voyager is $100 Buy-it-Now at the cheapest.
The cybertronian deluxe is $25 and the battle-damaged earth-mode deluxe is $45 (because he comes with a show-accurate axe in scale with the Voyager). But everybody wants a proper in-scale Optimus with accurate proportions, so almost nobody's settling for the gorilla-armed Deluxes.
For additional reference: The original Deluxe Bumblebee is $60, the Activators one is $16 if you're that much a scale nut. Deluxe Earth-mode Ratchet is $65, Cybertronian is $38. A basic Deluxe Prowl is over $80, Samurai Armor is over $155. Voyager Bulkhead (with all his fingers) is over $60, Leader is... indeterminate, there's only one ebay listing that doesnt have his scalp ripped off, and that's ~$140 shipped.
Needless to say, there is not enough product to meet the demand. We literally do not have enough figures out there, if prices are this stupid. Not to mention all the figures that could receive genuine improvements while still being in the show's trademark style... Optimus was one of them.
Look dude, I'm into G1 too. But I have my G1 figures proudly sharing shelf space with Beast Wars and Bay designs too. There's nothing wrong with it, you do not "need" them to be homogenized simply to share shelf space, or anything ridiculous like that. Would it be neat sometimes? Oh yeah, sure. That guy making Beast Wars-ified fansrt of different-continuity characters is sick, and G1ified Bay designs are also fun. But, you need to learn how to read the room, too.
