Are we starting from the post where someone claimed Ultimate was the start of Marvel's multiverse, when I was originally wondering aloud why Marvel didn't use the idea of alternate universes - which they did have, in the form of what if stories - to shunt off properties that they didn't explicitly own for stories, instead of just having to retcon their disappearance.
So... what do we disagree on here?
