I think that its obvious that Mattel has been cutting corners and having some problems with Motu distribution.
Maybe this isn't a sign that they want to discontinue the entire Origins line but symptoms of the toy industry as a whole. Other companies have mentioned that 2023 is going to be a bumpy year for toys and maybe Mattel is doing what it can but facing problems with higher production costs, supply chain issues and so on.
