I would say this is the best set I had as a kid, the Pharaoh's Quest pyramid from 2011. It was $100, and was a pretty cool set. A lot of play features, and for a pretty reasonable price back then. Only complaint is that it's actually rather small, so you can't do much inside the pyramid itself.
