I don't get how you see this as an ok practice it is completely fuck up to have these chase variants both for the people that want them and the people that don't. It's scummy as fuck and just make situations like this occur where some poor anon was getting his hopes up for a figure he wanted to now have to go through a hassle of waiting and hunting at another shot of something he thought he already had.
