>>8920791Like i said, blame Mattel for their shit efforts, who likely said "b-b-b-b-but its your fault that our toys failed, because no one wants these unknown characters!" instead of admitting that their toys looked like shit compared to Toy Biz's and Hasbro's efforts who made popular toys based on D list characters... and the fact that Marvel Studios successes have all come from Marvel's B (iron man, Captain America), C (thor), and D (guardians of teh galaxy) list characters
Again, you can see how WB took more control over toys back when Mattel started to focus on Batman characters in their last years and the fact that McFarlane basically confirmed this in one of his interviews about the DC line.
