>>10889384>the company made toys a new scale never used before not that that scale didn't exist before they made the toys>doesn't adhere to any kind of consistent scale these daysIt's SSDD.
You're just a faggot zoomer who thinks the world didn't exist until you stopped sucking on your moms tit back in 2015. Basically every scale that you haven't thought about, from 1:1 to 1:1000000, has been done in toy form since at least the early 1900s
>Sentinel didn't consider scaling their figure with other figures And that's their stupid fault. That doesn't make their toys 1/12 scale.
Fucking American companies learned to copy other toy companies scales in the 80s to increase the popularity and sales of their own toys.
>This only become an issue when you think the company cares about that figure compared to a figure from a different line.LOL, again, this shit has been a STANDARD since at least the 80s. Companies copy one another to cash in on the other's popularity.
This is why people care about scale, because that standard was set long ago and is what everyone is used to for over 40 years. When something doesn't adhere to this COMMON rule, people get upset.
pic of McFarlane's Halo 3/2 and ODST 1:16 lines going to 1:15 with the Reach line, setting fans bitching until years after McFarlane stopped making Halo figures
BTW, after McFarlane ditched the license Mattel made 1:14 Halo figures. Yes, that's even smaller than Sentinel's, so the Spartans stand 6" (and higher, depending on the spartan) and ODST fig (supposed to be tall in universe) are under 6"
