Lads, I finished my first diorama ever. I'm quite satsfied with it.
Most materials were handmade:
- The grass is green hemp cord that I cut with scissors;
- Foliage was made out of blended and dyed kitchen sponges (surprisingly this was more time consuming than making the grass, not only because the paint took a lot to dry, but because aftewards I had to glue few clumps of foliage to the trees and wait for them to dry before applying a new layer).
- The tree trunks are branches from my backyard painted with a brown spray can.
