>>9943802>>9943807The problem isn't the pixel size. NECA's pixel thing has almost always been a horrible idea. The pixels don't really correspond to anything, they're just slapped on there with no rhyme or reason. Sprites were never supposed to be visibly blocky anyway, the goal was to design them so that when viewed on a CRT they would take on a smooth, almost painterly looking image. So nobody would nostalgically remember games looking blocky and shit, they would remember smoothness.
