You should make a wanted list, all of parts you need for sets, then once you have a list you can search for stores with all or many of them. The aquanauts arm prongs are notoriously brittle, but they're also relatively cheap and plentiful.
It's worth it to 100% a set if you're keeping it imo. Often when I'm buying replacement parts, I buy a few extra of the cool / iconic ones to build mocs with too.
