Vortex is rocking an aesthetic I can't quite pin down but I do know the crotch plate is carrying at least 80% of it. The other 20% belong to the eye spots on the chest and the stripe on his mouth guard.
Poor guy really needed another hinge to get his rotor blade to the outside of his arm.
As is they're pretty useless. Bending his elbow even one notch disables them completely. And leving his arm straight lets them smack Vortex in his own face from almost every angle.
