I'm surprised there wasn't already a thread for this. Is anyone into Rubik's cubes?
I jokingly asked my wife for a Rubik's cube for Christmas and she actually got me one and it's become an obsession since. I could solve the first two layers on my own and then had to memorize some patterns for the last layer. I'm starting to get faster at it and it's a lot of fun. It turns like ass but I picked up a cheap speed cube and that's been a lot of fun to play with. The cube from my wife is actually for blind people so I've been playing with that blindfolded also.
I picked up a nicer Miyo speedcube with maglev and a robot to shuffle it for me, and also a Rubik's Impossible, and I'm still waiting for both to arrive.
I'm having a lot of fun with these.
