>>10645536Shadow Striker, again, is the only actually new mold for me here, and she's pretty fun. Her transformation is simple-but-not-too-much, where her arms dislocate from her back and pop up behind her and her legs swing underneath to form the bottom of the car, leaving her chest to become the hood; I've intentionally left the chest mistransformed here in an attempt to make her look a bit less masculine (being a pancake is off-model for her anyway - both of her previous toys have some small clevage).
She does have some partsforming, though - and surprisingly, it's not the hood of the car that makes up her shield (that CAN detach, but it's also designed so that she can transform without you ever touching it). Instead, the back bumper of her alt mode has to come off so her wheels can swing around in robot mode; the bumper attaches with a 5mm peg and can be mounted to a number of places (the instructions say to put it on the muzzle of her gun, which looks utterly ridiculous). I've chosen to put it on her right forearm, where - while still useless - it's out of the way and doesn't look to obtrusive.
They're a fun bunch, even if two of them are more or less 'repeats'. I am curious, though - how are other people's Dreadwings? Did I just get lucky (as often seems to be the case), or did they actually fix the mold?
