Dude, he looks EXACTLY how a modernized version of the toy should have looked. He's just missing his rotor, otherwise he's perfect for the character they were trying to convey.
Also, that metallic blue is fucking awesome on him, and looks far better in-hand.

Somebody explain to me, a brainlet, why people are saying that he looks nothing like his G2 figure. Besides the obvious lack of a rotor, the only big difference I can tell is the lack of tampos on the front part of the racecar mode.

As a child in the early 90s, I didn't understand the G1 toys weren't being sold anymore. I would always beg my parents to let me check whatevr KayBee Toys we walked past in hopes of finding a G1 Optimus toy, man was I dumb.

I remember this being my first transformer, didn't know the character I just wanted a toy. Lost the propeller after a day.
