>>10122573>so like xcom but lego?Kinda the idea yes, but obviously way simpler
These are a lot of of really useful and interesting questions so I'm gonna try to answer them as best, I saw them earlier but I was on phone and couldn't reply
>how does building benefit the player besides creating extra cover?Well aside from that, yeah you can take away pieces from the board, remove cover from an enemy or maybe even change one of the "spaces" you can move through to another place, leave hazards around, whatever. Probably not build new weapons for your minifig because that seems like it could be a bit broken and hard to balance around. Probably can only take bricks that are "on top" too yeah so no collapsing a bridge using that... Though
>is there any way to pierce, remove, or destroy cover?Yeah that is a must have, honestly not sure how i'd handle that yet but my collection is mostly capeshit and when you have characters like Hulk you need a way to just break shit, smash walls and cover and stuff... But again not so sure how it'd work exactly
Yes you're right the characters only turn after they get damaged
>>10122573>are there any aoe attacks like bombs? if there are, how do they affect the bricks on the board?Yeah, be it as hero skills or maybe just exploding enemies, it probably destroys stuff but again not so sure how to handle destruction as opposed to building stuff
