>>9784094I LOVED these bikes as a kid and almost forgot about them. Was never a huge duplo kid(my mom collected fisherprice little people sets that felt similar and were ultra based) and got introduced to Lego pretty early on, but these bikes were just so cool thick and chunky looking. Vroomed those around on the floor a ton.
It's excacerbated by the fact they're thick wide and seem extra low because of it. That's my gripe with the newer bikes of Lego. They sit just too high for my liking. The old 80s bikes felt more proportionate atleast for what i like doing scale wise. The fabuland bikes come close when you sit a figure down in them.
Although I will say these new flywheel ones are based and really fun as well. The different sized wheels makes them look funny in the first place so I don't mind them as more stunty clown type frankenstein bikes.
Curious to get my hands on the stuntz "american police travel/chopper" farings as they cover up the rear tire behind faring mostly. I though that was a neat compromise and hope they make it fun colours.
