>>9016092I never got to enjoy large-scale lego sets as a kid because of the general expense of it. i was raised/warned never to ask for expensive stuff from friends/relatives in form of occasional gifts because it was simply selfish. Meanwhile, I was happy to at least have a collection of small/medium sets since i could make whatever I wanted. even today, i could just bricklink what i want. But i still feel that great void, and i just dont have the motivation to buy them anymore.
