>>10912164This feels more like a subjective argument then anything else as maximum articulation isn't the only measure of a toy being fun. I've never said these guys have the best articulation, but it's certainly not the worst and it's usually good enough to pose them doing what these figures should be doing. The first few waves were certainly more limited, those bare arms are just awful, but the line has been improving with each new mold released and the Valiant Knight and Zombie builds are two of the best in the line.
>>10912174A well engineered single hinge elbow can give you all the range you need on an arm. Most JP brands use single hinge joints beautifully, allowing incredibly deep bends without completely sacrificing the sculpt of the figure. Western companies seem to have far more of an issue with it though, but even double hinge joints are a problem for some companies. Butterfly joints would be fantastic on these guys, as the Valiant Knight's biggest weakness right now is still the limited cross chest articulation, but the Legions have always had fantastic hips from the start of the line...even if they are pretty ugly (but well hidden).
>>10913185I'm the guy who usually "defends" these figures...as seen by my statements above, but even I've had plenty of criticisms about this line and some of the choices the 4H have made. Hell, I've been complaining about the range of the elbows since I got the first test shot figure.
People are allowed to criticize and complain about these toys, they're not for everyone. Hell, I even suggested OP not buy these figures in the previous discussions about Zombie chick as he was on the fence and I didn't want him to be disappointed. But there's a difference between honest constructive criticism and straight up shitposting, which is what Rancorfag does.
